About Thailand Trade Office, Torontoo

The Thailand Trade Office (TTO) in Toronto represents the Department of Export Promotion (DEP), Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government, is responsible for promoting trade and services between Thailand and Canada (Eastern Canada region) cover the province of Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.  The main responsibilities are as follows:-

1.TTO organizes and co-ordinate trade mission to Thailand, organized under the DEP fair calendar throughout the year. The mission comes in two forms, product sourcing and visiting of international trade fairs.   In both format of the trade mission, there will be arrangement of business matching for the Thai manufacturers & exporters meeting potential Singapore importers & distributors.   This help to build networks and expand business opportunities.  For further information on the list of fairs, please visit www.thaitradefair.com

2. TTO works and co-operates with local businesses such as business and trade associations, department stores, chain stores, supermarket to encourage the sourcing and purchasing of Thai made products and services.    We work directly with management team of these local associations and enterprises to achieve a good representation of Thai products and services to be available in Canada.   Many of our promotional activities i.e. In-store Promotion with major retail stores, Organizing Trade mission to Thailand. TTO also welcome individual businessman or representative of any business to work with us on any trade and products inquiry and promotion.

3. TTO also assist business matching for the Thai manufacturers & exporters and the Canadian importers & distributors; provide general trade information; coordinate with Canadian government agencies on issue of the economic co-operation.
